I did not get through the recruitment process for the first time. Can I try again?

Of course, we love to stay in touch with every candidate whether they join our team or not. Eventually, when you feel that you meet our requirements (or some of them), simply drop us a line.

Will I be recruited for a specific project?

During an interview, we always provide a candidate with a couple of possible projects they can join. Our goal is to work with every employee in the long term. After joining Bright Inventions, you will have a chance to move from one project to another.

What does the recruitment interview look like?

At the interview, you will meet with recruiters and a software developer. Naturally, if you apply for a non-developer position, then you will meet with another bright representative according to your job profession e.g. a product designer or a project manager. The interview usually lasts about 2,5 hours . The interview at Bright Inventions contains a few stages: In the beginning, there is a short intro followed by a warmup, during which a candidate says a little about themselves. That part takes up to 10 minutes. Then, we have a technical part of the interview which can last up to 90 minutes. At the end, there is a non-technical part which helps to know better candidates’ experience and soft skills. It is also helpful to establish a cultural fit. Moreover, it is an opportunity to talk in English to verify foreign language knowledge.

How many people work at Bright Inventions?

We have over 80 people on board.

Can I work 100% remotely?

Yes, you can. Our office is located in Gdańsk. However, our employees are free to work from home . If you choose to work remotely, it would be great to meet once a quarter during the team retreats that we organize every 3 months . 🙂 Plus we would appreciate it if you could come to the office to meet with the client in case they visit us. We hire people all over Poland. Feel free to apply, even if you do not come from Gdańsk. We have team members from other places, especially Toruń, Poznań and Warsaw.

Do you work with international clients?

Most of our clients are located outside of Poland, yet they stay in similar time zones. We mostly work with clients from Europe, e.g. Germany, the UK, and Sweden. Also, we cooperate with clients from other continents. A few of them are located in Israel which is in GMT +2 time zone. So there is only a 1-hour difference between Poland and Israel.
